Eid Mubarak or Blessed Eid (Arabic: عيد مبارك, Bengali: ঈদ মোবারক, Persian/Urdu:عید مُبارک, Malayalam: ഈദ് മുബാറക്, Somali: Ciid wanaagsan, ஈத் முபாரக்) is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid ul-Adha andEid ul-Fitr. Eid means "Celebration" and refers to the occasion itself, andMubarak means "blessed"; for example: "Eid Mubarak, sister!"Muslims wish each other "Eid Mubarak" after performing the Eid prayer. The celebration continues until the end of the day for Eid ul-Fitr (or al-Fitr) and continues a further three days for Eid ul-Adha (or Al-Adha). However, in the social sense people usually celebrate Eid ul-Fitr after Ramadan and Eid-ul-Adha in the month of Dhul Haj(12th and Final Islamic month), visiting family and exchanging greetings such as "Eid Mubark". Outlook. com is a free web-based email service run by Microsoft.
One of the world's first webmail services, it was founded in 1996 as Hotmail (stylized asHoTMaiL) by Sabeer bhatia and Jack Smith in Mountain View, California and headquartered in Sunnyvale.
It was acquired by Microsoft in 1997 for an estimated $400 million and launched as MSN Hotmail, later rebranded toWindows Live Hotmail as part of the Windows Live suite of products.The last version was released in 2011.
As of 2011, Hotmail had 360 million users per month.It was available in 36 different languages. In 2013, Hotmail was replaced with Outlook.com, which features Microsoft's Metro design language, and closely mimics the interface of Microsoft Outlook. It also features unlimited storage, Ajax, and integration with Calendar, OneDrive,People and Skype.
